Meet Travis! Welcome Home Troops’ New Vet Facilitator in Training

Travis is a Marine Corps Veteran with a few deployments under his belt. The most recent being to Afghanistan. After coming home from his deployments, Travis used every outlet that he could to find some relief from his trauma he endured during his time in battle.

Listen to what he has to say about the Power Breath Meditation Workshop:

“I recently attended my second Project Welcome Home Troops Power Breath Meditation Workshop. This course has had a tremendous impact on my life. I am able to live my life with a clear mind, positive attitude, and a lighter heart than prior to the course. My experiences in my life, particularly the events that occurred while engaged in combat in Helmand Province Afghanistan, left me in a state of depression, anxiety, sleeplessness, anger, and frustration. I have done my best to battle my demons through physical activity and counseling. However, nothing has come close to the healing that occurred during the PWHT Power Breath Meditation Workshop.

I honestly feel like I have been given a second chance at life, and the weight I carried on my mind, heart, and soul has been lifted. I continue to practice the techniques taught in the course, and I look forward to the new journey I am on. I highly recommend this course to other struggling veterans. While surfing, running, yoga, hiking, service dogs, counseling, or any other various forms of ‘self-therapy’ may make you feel better in the short term, the PWHT Power Breath Meditation Workshop and continued practice can give you a new life.”
